TodiCastle, also known as Castello di Capecchio, is an authentic medieval fortress located 10 miles south of the town of Todi, on the top of the hill to the east side of the Village of Collelungo belonging to the municipality of Baschi, near Orvieto.
TodiCastle has recently been transformed in a historic hotel featuring 5 luxury rooms.
The Castle dates back to the 11th century and was built to protect the city of Todi, very powerful during the medieval times, form the southern boundaries.
TodiCastle has been recognized as Residenza d’Epoca, Historic Residence, becoming part of the Italian National Heritage in 2009.
Completed with the utmost care, the historical residence has kept intact the original typologies and materials as much as possible, thanks to the use of methodologies attentive to the environment and to the well-being of the guests.
