Dear Mario, just a little note to thank you for the fantastic time we had at Todicastle spending our wedding-anniversary at your place.
Until now I thought our wedding was one of the best days in my life but this anniversary I must confess surpassed it by far.
What shall I say?
Was it because of the magnificent castle that looks so imposing from the outside but is so warm and intimate once you are inside?
Was it because we slept in the cardinals room and spent hours imagining what happened in the ages passing by in front of his bed?
Was it because you and you're staff made us feel at home with all the luxury of a first-class hotel and the food that was so delicious and italian and was cooked in front of our eyes so we can try to redo it back home?
Or was it because of this brilliant idea of having a castle for ourselves (us, the children and their partners) and these two very beautiful, very comfortable and well-decorated villas with stupendous views nearby for our friends and relatives?
In this way they could enjoy being together with us at the castle but also enjoy their freedom and privacy.
Anyway all these experiences combined with the colours of the landscape of one of the most beautiful spots in Europe made that - immersing ourselves in this world of amazing beauty -we had one of the best weeks of our life ever!
So, grazie tante, we will be back soon!!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.It is about family and food and being together. When we decided to spend the holiday at Todi Castle I did not know how it would be. Mario made my family feel so welcome and joined in the spirit of the holiday. His cook outdid himself with Italian variations on American food. The table was so beautiful. My family had the best Thanksgiving and I did not have to do any of the cooking. Next year we want to do it again and have our friends stay at the villas and join us for another wonderful Thanksgiving.

The minute I saw Todi Castle on the web site I knew it was where I wanted to be married. It is the most romantic place. The rooms are beautiful. I can not express my thanks for the wonderful celebration you created for me...the food...the atmosphere...the property lit with hundreds of candles at night. My brother has a wonderful picture on his camera of me on my father's arm coming down the stone stairs in the courtyard on our way to the service. Dear Mario, my 50th Birthday Celebration at Todi Castle was probably the most beautiful Birthday I have ever spent. Arriving from a busy city like London with my group of friends and family I found myself in a few hours in a beautiful Castle where every desire and necessity was catered for by a superb staff. The atmosphere in the Castle Hall was so intimate and special "not to mention the quality of the food". Now that I am back in London I can still touch with my mind the sensation which Todi Castle gave me for this important Birthday. I thank you so much for making this possible.

Dear Mario, Dave and i safely returned to the US last night.
We had a wonderful time in Italy and I think we enjoyed our stay in Umbria the best. We fell in love with the area, towns, food, and people. We will be returning there in the near future.
We enjoyed Todi Castle and our favorite meal in Italy was the wedding meal. It was by far the best food we had during our trip! (the close second was at Duca Di Orvieto, where Dave and I actually returned for lunch on our travel day to Rome!)


Thank you so much for your help in making this the wedding of our dreams. Everyone had such a good time, better than we could ever imagine. This trip will live in our memories forever as one of the best!
