Family Chapel
The San Quirico Chapel at TodiCastle is a wonderful example of early Romanesque Architecture. It has been used for Century by the local community for Religious ceremonies and events.
Every year since centuries on Easter Monday there is a procession that
starts from the village and arrives to the Castle, organized by the local
church and members of the local community. The men of the village carry a
statue of the Madonna from the church in Collelungo heading to the chapel.
The procession starts from the village at 14.30 and reaches the Castle at
15.00. Then there is a Mass in the courtyard.
It is a traditional and picturesque event gathering people of different
ages. After the Mass people a picnic is held at the lawn by the castle.
The Chapel is available for the guests staying on the Estate for weddings and other Ceremonies.
