In Todi the Ciucci Bar in front of the opera theater and the Pianegiani Bar on Corso Cavour, many homemade, fruit flavors.
In Montecastello di Vibio (next exit after Todi north on the E-45), right in the piazza, is a great ice cream store with a view of Todi.

BAKERY FARE IN TODI
Todi has a number of pastry shops, from Ciucci to Biganti, just follow your nose. Fresh bread at the bakery behind the Duomo. Typical Todi goodies: serpent cake made of marzipan, with candied eyes, sprinkled with powdered sugar; pizza al formaggio, a cheese flavored bread often shaped like a soufflé or loaf. In Todi, pizza means loaf or cake. Crostata is an open face pie, topped with fruit or jam.

OLIVE OIL MILLS IN UMBRIA

Olives from Umbria are known for the wonderful olive oil they produce. Should you be here in October or November you might want to visit one of our local olive oil mills.
Asproli
Here you will find old men participating in an olive oil process that has produced  famous olive oil for centuries.  The cold press method (two pressings) is used.  It is a slow process and one can be hypnotized by the movement of the presses.
